Troop 318 has a large collection of resources available to the Scouts and the Leaders of our troop. Below is a list of the literature found in the troop's library. If a Scout or a Leader would like ot take-out a resource from the library, please see the Troop Librarian. The Librarian has a log book for signing out and checking in all resources. If you have any resources that you would like to have in the Library or that you would like to donate, please talk to the Troop's Librarian or the Advancement Chair.
Merit Badge Pamplets
BSA prints merit badge pamphlets for each merit badge that provide all of the background information a Scout and the Merit Badge Counselor need to achieve the requirements. Our Library may contain pamphlets that are not current, but they still contain good information. Take care of the merit badge pamphlet as you would any valuable reference book, returing it in good condition as soon as you are don with it.
We always welcome donations of used merit badge pamplets. If you purchased a new one from the Scout Shop and have no further need for it, we ask that you donate them to the Troop Library for other Scouts to use. This is how we have built such an extensive collection.
