Parents / Scouts:

We are finalizing the reservations for the July 9-11 canoe/tubing trip, and we have a few dads that would like to go if there is room. ( I know there will be one last canoe training opportunity this week or next.)

I need to know right away if your son is planning to go on the canoe trip in July and you have not yet turned in your forms!

Hi Scouts and parents,

Here are the details Mr. Langley put together for our bowling night next Monday.  Due to all church facilities being used for Vacation Bible School next week, the scouts decided overwhelmingly to bowl next Monday.

Place:  Pleasant Valley Lanes
Address:  5501 Commercial Ave.
Web address:  http://www.amf.com/pleasantvalleylanes/centerhomepage.htm
Time:  6:30-8:30
Cost:  $10 – includes shoes and tax.  Cash only.

Collectively, the scouts also agreed that they would earn the money around the house to go bowling.  So, we’ll leave that one to you!

Yours in Scouting,
Mr. Knight

Message from the SPL

Dear Scouts,

I am happy to announce that I am your new Senior Patrol Leader. I want to first say thank you for all those who voted for me in the election. I hope to soon make this troop more fun and more boy-led by your decisions on where we go what we do on camping trips. I believe that we can have the a lot of fun this year despite of the changes in the troop. All I ask is that we focus on the positives of this situation and do away with negatives. Although the number of our troop has decreased, I still think we can have twice as much fun as we did previously.

Merry Christmas to everyone and Happy New Year!  I look forward to the year ahead.

YIS,
Spencer Lane

Christmas Party Monday Night

Dear Scouts,

I just wanted to remind everyone about the Christmas Party on Monday December 14.  Also, that every patrol except for Sasquatch needs to bring three types of pies that were given to you at the last troop meeting

Flag Retirement - Postponed again...
Hello all,

After visiting the church it has been determined that even if the rain stops we will not be able to have the flag ceremony tonight. Since there was not a regular meeting planned for today, everyone has the night off. We will do our best to reschedule the ceremony as soon as possible.

Yours in Scouting,
Anthony Lammons

Hey leaders,
Just letting you know that all new senior leadership positions(i.e. those who just moved from junior to senior leadership positions in our troop) should be at the PLC this Saturday from 9 AM- 2PM. If you have other commitments that interfere with said PLC it is alright, just try to show up later (unless you are a PL). If you cannot make it at all or are a patrol leader and have to show up late,  please find a representative for your position (perhaps the person who used to be the senior in that leadership position) to relay information to you. I hope this clears up any questions you have. If you still have questions feel free to E-mail me.

YIS,
Jonathan
